"We first met Tom in 2005, when we were looking for someone to make us fitted wardrobes. He came highly recommended and proved a very valuable find, indeed. Tom is passionate about his craft and is obviously extremely skilled in his furniture design, but most importantly he listens to the customer and will adapt his design to his/her specific needs and budget. To date he has made our fitted wardrobes - exactly what we wanted within a tight budget following an expensive extension. He designed and made an ingenious tongue and groove bath panel incorporating ‘hidden doors’ so that we can utilise the wasted space behind. He made us a rustic cabinet of shelves and a mirror from old pallets, and he made a magnificent job of stripping back an oak shelf in the bathroom and treating it as it should have been in the first place! We also have several of his designs in the pending tray just waiting for that sunny day! All-in-all, Tom is our ‘wood’ man and the first person we go to with any joinery or furniture queries/ideas. He is honest and trustworthy and a true find!"

"We had been thinking about having a cabinet made to meet our needs and had looked around furniture exhibitions. We were impressed by Tom’s work and his approach, which is very customer centred. I am a wheelchair user and John is blind, so I needed to make sure I could access the cabinet from a height point of view, and John needed to understand the design before committing ourselves to it. Tom went out of his way to ensure that this happened, including producing a tactile design for John. We wanted a unit that was unique, with a bowed front. Although offering his expertise we never felt pressured into accepting either design, or type of wood, until we were certain it was what we wanted. The result is truly remarkable! We were so satisfied that we commissioned him to make a bed with storage drawers that were solid – another stunning piece. Tom is an expert craftsman, meticulous in every detail.
